Actually I heard that Ian Fleming was very acquainted with MI 6 and based Bond on some of the machinations that had gone on with that organization.Yeah,it's probably far fetched to think that a special agent would be that libidinous in the line of duty.

I agree.Dalton said he had read many of Fleming's novels as a boy and wanted to take Bond back to his edgier roots.Dalton often gets overlooked when the talk of Bond comes around.
