Just saw this at Bloody Elbow. Freak show anyone? Pudzianowski has fought before. I didn't know that at all? I have seen him perform on ESPN several times in competition. The guy is a bull. I hope he picks timmeh up and throws him over the cage.

Just watched his debut fight. He almost kicked that guys legs off. I like him already. He did look sloppy, but the guy was scared after that second leg kick. The fight is at the bottom of the page I pasted

Pudzianowski was supposed to fight May 7th in Poland. I'll be surprised if he comes to the states to fight right now. Wonder if he passes the drug test.

I just watched the vid for his fight and WOW Mariusz had to have seriously lost some weight for that fight.

He used to compete in the WSM competitions weighing about 315

Pretty sure Butterbean is one of the promoters for the show.

Sylvia's manager said today that Tim is negotiating for 3 different fights right now but none are signed. Fight 1 is against Wes Sims, 2 is against Mariusz Pudzianowski and the 3rd is for Dream. Dream wanted him to fight Barnett but Sylvia and his manager said no so Dream is looking for a different opponent.

Barnett would have been a great opponent for Tim. The winner of that fight is likely back in most major top tens.

Don't think Timmy would be. Sure he was top 5 a year ago, but a loss to 50 year old Mercer drops you pretty far especially with this young crop of HWs. Plus he's not in a major org so he won't get much credit even if he gets some good wins.

If Timmy flattened Barnett he would vault back into the sherdog and USA today top tens for sure.

USA Today AKA Bloodyelbow has Timmy at 24. No way he jumps 14 people unless he beats Fedor.

Even then it's a stretch. It would impact Fedor more than Sylvia to lose to him. Think of it like when a 11th ranked team beats the #1. #1 gets bumped to like 5th and the 11th will get to 8-9th

I would have him close to top ten if he beat Barnett. Of course Barnett cheats and Tim prolly won't want to fight a guy that cheats. lol No for real getting beat by Mercer on a fluke over hand right wasn't all that bad. We all know despite how bad Tim has fell off, that he would beat Mercer if he took it to the mat. He went in and got caught by a guy who prolly has a harder punch than most MMA HW's.

He was also a guy pushing 50 who never should have been able to set that punch up like he did. Sylvia could win alot of fights if he just took someone down and laid on top of them for three rounds. Tim doesn't need a win he needs a reason to get his ass training like he gives a shit about the outcome of a fight again.

No, Barnett isn't a quality fight. Win or lose Sylvia gets the shit end of the stick here. If he loses he racks up another loss, albeit to a cheater. If he wins all he did was beat a cheater. I don't see why anyone who takes MMA seriously would ever want to fight Barnett now. He's damaged goods now, and will never regain respect from alot of fans even if he fights clean 100 times and wins every single one of them. Getting caught three times with steroids in your system is just plain stupid.

If he cared these days about something other than a paycheck since his big ass probably doesn't know how to do anything else he would be taking fights seriously. Instead he shows up on fight night looking like The Blob from X-men Origins.

lmao at that. Looked alot like the blob. I don't agree with you about that punch. There wasn't even a set up. He just went out and threw that punch and it landed. Tim sucks and that helped out Mercer though. I didn't mean, and you know that Tim wouldn't just LnP to beat Mercer. I meant he could easily take him down and control the fight until the ref steps in. Even as bad as Timmeh has gotten I do believe he could get a tko on Mercer if they fight again. Yes alot of Miletitch fighters have lost there edge to train hard. Tim is the worst one. If he rededicated himself I could see him getting back in the top ten.

To Tim's credit, he agreed to only stand and trade punches with Mercer. Not many HWs in MMA could stand and trade hands with Mercer. I would say Tim is probably still a top 15 guy, it's just the fashion in which he lost to Fedor and that Mercer mess that screws his ranking.

My point is if he wasn't such a slob these days he could have at least tried to use his jab and height to avoid getting zulu'd like that so quick. If he trained half as hard as he used to for that fight with Mercer he may very well have won the fight especially being 6'8" tall.

I remember seeing Jens Pulver (Sylvia's childrens godfather) before the fight saying how stupid it was of Tim to accept the Mercer fight

he said this is a former heavyweight belt holder, you dont go try and trade with him. Why would you?
