When is Kimbo gonna fight?

Has anyone heard who he is supposed to be fighting next? I was just wondering since he isn't on any of the upcoming cards. They should have had him on the versus card. Could have been good for both parties.

Word is(as last I knew anyway) he fights Matt Mitrione next. Not sure whats going on with that though.

Yeah I saw something on here about that. Forgot about it. I actually am pulling for Kimbo. I know I used to bash him alot, but he has dedicated himself and he does have raw talent.

I thought Schoonover had some talent. I liked the fact that Page rode him hard and he beat the crap out of that dude. I was shocked when Big Baby beat Schoonover for real. I thought Big Baby would fold when Schoon landed a big punch on him. Big Baby had a lot of room to grow too. He was a bit uncoordinated but had good BJJ and was an ox. That show had the best talent by far imo. (not counting comebacks) I just thought of a new thread.

Of course. I would put him around 30-35 just off his win already against Houston, plus a win over meathead. He should be top 30 for that or close to it.

I think it will be a great fight and honestly really want to see it. Kimbo in the top 35 or 40 probably with a win I would say Wolf.

Another waste of fighters loosing TV time and opportunities to overhyped shitty fighters. I don't dislike either fighter because hey they are just trying to capitalize on the situation and make some money. But having the number 60 HW take on the number 65 HW fight on a main PPV card is a joke to me.

Its a fight people want to see. The fight game is about rankings as much as it is ratings.

Yeah alot of us bashed Kimbo before, but we want to see him succeed now. I know I do.

It's not real high on my list. Kimbo the name is better then Kimbo the fighter. A lot of his fights have been cringe worthy. We'll see where his development takes him next. Mitrione is a similar case. I've only seen what he has done on spike TV and his bitch persona I think trumped his actual fighting.

Mitrione was the type to easily be sucked into fan friendly slugfests, but for me, someone who didn't appreciate his really horrible technique, all I really saw was his portrayal on the show and how mentally weak he seemed in it. I don't know that we can write it off to an unfavorable cut job either. He acted in a very immature way, with some very manipulative and weak injury faking/milking behaviors. Came off like a fruitcake. At the end of the day he fought and delivered though. He won fights on the show and in the UFC. His technique is garbage but in the cage he swings hard, takes risks, and is relatively fast.

He may already be too much for Kimbo.

The thing is most people can watch this fight in any quality gym. Just my opinion I don't care to pay to watch to unskilled fighters that only have power.
