| Jeff Blatnick was not only an amazing wrestler and great ambassador for mma, he was a selfless individual who gave his time and energy to countless high school and junior high school wrestlers through his work with NYS wrestling. Jeff volunteered last Saturday at a NYS wrestling coaches meeting to travel the country fund raising, and said he would do it free of charge since the association couldnt afford to pay someone to do it. Thats how he was. When something needed to be done, he got it done and never asked for anything in return. Last Saturday, he didn't even mention to any of the other coaches that he was having the heart procedure. Never showed any weakness and never wanted anybody to worry. His wake is this Sunday. He will be missed by all who knew him, and a special thanks for all he did not only for USA wrestling and mma, but for all the hours he volunteered to help NYS wrestling, its programs and the kids.
