Adrian Peterson vs Arian Foster

Who ya got? Who is better?

All homerisim aside, these are the best 2 RBs in the league.

Peterson is looking awesome. Hard to pick against him. I pick Foster.

in terms of Fantasy he is 3rd (most likely).. both foster and muscle hamster will probably pass him this week.. but that doesnt matter..

I went with Foster but my test will be to see how Peterson does against chicago

Peterson has about 230 more yards rushing
Foster has 5 more total touchdowns..

and thats with Foster having a bye week already and Peterson not.. so yardage will be closer and TDs could be more

How about if you look at it this way. Which player would you rather have on your team? Let's say you could put either player on say...the Bears. Which player would you expect to do better?

How about if you look at it this way. Which player would you rather have on your team? Let's say you could put either player on say...the Bears. Which player would you expect to do better?

In the bears o I take foster. He can make the catches out if the backfield.

it depends on the team to be honest.. what style of offense they run.. hows there O-Line and what not.. gotta go to work .. lates

Seems you guys are just avoiding the question. I'm not looking at who is having the better season right now or who would be the best fight in different offenses. What I was trying to do is see who you think is the more talented running back. Who has the better peak right now, who would you take on your team, who is the better player?

Texans o id go def foster. But really both are great. At their peaks it is even. Gun to my head ill go foster because I like his ability to catch and is slightly better at not fumbling. Ad gets the nod when I comes to trucking someone.

Fair enough. But I bet Adrian would whoop Arian's ass

peterson averages almost 2 yards a carry more with a much weaker supporting cast.

foster is very good but there are a few backs as good, if not better. peterson is a cut above the rest at the moment.

i actually think gore should be close to all-pro consideration this year. the 49ers have done a great job splitting the load and not wearing him down too much this year and they are seeing some serious benefit from that with his performances.

there's no way foster should be considered for that honour averaging less than 4 yards a carry, i don't care how many 1 yard touchdowns he's got.

When your up big in the 2nd half and they put 9 men in the box, getting 3 yards is pretty good.

i'm not saying he isn't a good back and a perfect fit for houstons offense, i just don't see a credible argument for saying foster is the best back in the league. his yards per carry simply isn't good enough for that and the receiving out of the backfield argument doesn't hold up anymore either.

he may have the most TD's but only marshawn lynch has anywhere near the same amount of carries.

I know, I'm just being a homer like Kings. Gore is great, but he is not comparable to Foster or AD.

Adrian Peterson. The only area Foster is genuinely more productive is the lack of fumbles since getting into the league. Peterson had that year where he put it on the ground like 9 times, but since the start of the 2010 season he's fumbled 4 times in the last 42 games and only lost 2 of those.

Petersen has reclaimed the belt. He is back on the road to GOAT. Ran into these stats the other day...






After 13 games this season, hard to imagine he hasn't increased separation.

AD is a monster, he is elite even when he isn't 100%. When he is 100%? He is GOAT level talent. Freak of nature physically with his strength and speed.
