UFC on FOX 2 Headliner: Evans v Davis

I have never been excited about this match-up. I just think Davis is so overmatched.

It just doesn't make sense to me. Are these really the matchups they want to feature on FOX? I guess they don't want to risk another KO 1 min into the fight? But having 4 fights on FOX(Dana said there would be 4) will give you room for a quick KO. Casual fans are going to be like Sonnen is fighting who? Rashad Evans is fighting who? I know they could use this to build the brand of those guys but you want to have atleast 1 interesting match that people want to see. What kind of ratings are they expecting here?

Like I said, I could miss this event and be OK with it. Not what I should be saying about the 1st full card on FOX.

It just didn't make sense, might have been one of those thing where the UFC throws it out there to get a feel for how people feel about it.

I could have seen it as a co-main though. Kind of surprised that isn't happening. They need some good stuff to go along with Evans-Davis

Like we talked about in the other thread. Sonnen said he would wait for Spider and I would prefer that as well. But they need to add something more appealing then the current style matchups thrown out there. They can do much better. I'm fine with Rashad vs Davis and Sonnen vs Munoz. Just not together as the co-main events on FOX. That is not appealing to me.

Munoz makes a lot more sense than the winner of Meyham/Bisping if this is a title eliminator.

Looks like we could have/had a mini GP for the next shot.
