Vicente Escobedo vs. Rocky Juarez set for Sept 23rd on Telefutura

Now the Golden Boy Promotions stablemates will meet at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif., on Sept. 23 (Telefutura) in a scheduled 10-rounder. Both men have lost their biggest fights. Juarez has lost four fights in a row and is 0-5-1 in featherweight and junior lightweight title bouts. Escobedo is 2-2 in his past four fights, including losses to both of his notable opponents -- a decision to Robert Guerrero and a split decision for an interim lightweight belt against Michael Katsidis.
