Crazyness. Blame it on Irene I guess. I watched it with 12 people also, so that is like two other buys they did not get, my bad, my fault.

Hurricane Irene, plus out of the country events always seeming to do worse even though this one was on the same time zone. Was there as much publicity for this one that wasn't the hardcore fan reading about it online? I felt like I saw just as many of those stupid promo vids

Didnt hear anything about Hurricane Irene shutting off cable..unless everybody was in a fall out shelter or thought it was perfect weather for a picnic....seems like a perfect time to stay in...and watch UFC.

Actually I lost both power and cable after Irene hit. I hooked up a gas generator to My tv and cable box to see if the news had any information about when power would come back on and nothing worked. 770k people were without power in My state alone.

Second that, the demise of Roy Jones Jr was so hard to watch for me, I think when Tarver destroyed him in the 2nd round in the rematch a piece of me died.

Between it being out of the country, Irene, and all the promoting that can't be done in English it happens. But over the next few years, I expect the UFC to be averaging 750K buys anyway because of the Fox deal...
