GSP VS Okami who would win?

Just for thought as I am one who says Anderson beats the shit out of gsp and or subs him. So lets say gsp started out against Okami. Who wins? @ 185

I would rather anderson fight Hendo or Chael at this point or move on to 205

not to mention Diaz takes the next fight against gsp. And yes Im ready for a few of you to call me crazy.

Forrest Griffin is the only win on Anderson's record that I don't think GSP would have if he had fought the same opponents.

Okami shit his pants when Silva dropped his hands and dared him to hit him, and then that jab dropped him and he knew he was fucked, GSP would dominate him from start to finish, on the ground or standing wherever he thinks Okami is the weakest.

Now that would be an amazing fight, Sonnen wouldn't be like Kos and stay on the outside to get hit by that jab, and he is stronger then Jake so when he had GSP he wouldn't let go so easily.

GSP via better striking, better wrestling and better bjj. Okami's performance against Anderson was very disappointing. At least attempt a takedown and see if you can put the fight in a more advantageous spot. Standing with Silva is the downfall of any of his opponents (Sonnen being the only one in the UFC who had success standing with Silva).

Wait a minute... GSP can beat Okami but he's too small to face Silva hmmmmm.

Maybe. GSP's guard passing is also better then Sonnen's, so who knows. I still think GSP takes him down at will and controls the fight, rendering Anderson largely ineffective and unable to mount an offense. I never bought into Okami having a chance. To beat Anderson, you have to be a great wrestler (not just a good one), who is patient enough to not get sucked into a slugfest like Hendo did, which ultimately led to him getting submitted. GSP is too smart for that and he knows if he gets hit by Anderson cleanly, its over. When GSP feels threatened, he fights his best.

I think Jimbo is on point here. I think GSP vs Silva is one of the best possible fights in the sport. Ever.

I don't buy too much into "Anderson has been working on his wrestling". When a guy starts taking Josh Koscheck, BJ Penn, Matt Hughes, Jon Fitch, and Thiago Alves down at will a few months of training to stop takedowns isn't going to be enough. Unfortunately the last time Anderson met up with an elite level wrestler with elite level takedowns he was grounded and held in check for almost 25 minutes. He won't be landing any hail mary triangles on GSP.

Yea exactly. Not only that, in terms of anticipation and deception GSP is the best striker Anderson has ever faced. That is the best fight in MMA.

Silva dominates weak competition. GSP is not weak competition. GSP would be the smartest, most athletic, strongest, fastest, and technical fighter Silva will ever face. Cant clown and slap your opponents when youre on your back getting your face smashed in.
