| Looks like both the Celtics and Bulls lose. Celtics tied with the Heat now with the Bulls 2 games ahead. |

| 10 TOs tonight, but the Media have him pegged already, though Dwight and Kobe could possibly make it interesting if they play well down the stretch and Rose/Chitown slip some more (Media hates Kobe though, so no chance really). Dwight and Kobe have posted better total individual numbers this season. But, regular season MVP hasn't won the Title since 2005 I think and only twice since Jordan retired from the Bulls, both were big men. | |

| So what if he had 10 TO tonight, it's 1 game. The Lakers have much more talent than the Bulls yet the Bulls are tied with them all down to Rose. Kobe isn't even top 3 this year in MVP voting. Rose, Howard and Lebron are way ahead of everyone. |

| Really Rose isn't having quite as good an individual season as some of the media is making it seem. Great sure, but not amazing, and at one point he was by far the clear front runner, but his play has been scattered and other players have caught up. A lot of the credit for the Bulls play this season also belongs to Tom Thibodeau, case in point there excellent team defense. And that's a very good team around Rose, lets not act like they aren't. Like I said, if he and the Bulls slip, it could get interesting, but the Media has him pegged, even if someone comes up equally deserving. But when you are a top MVP candidate, 10 TO games at the end of the season when you're battling it out for the top playoff spots hurts you, seen it many times before.
Bronze? he isn't even top 5, dude isn't even MVP on his own team and his "in the clutch" numbers are pathetic this season.
Howard is probably in reality the most deserving MVP, best numbers, anchors his team, and not a very good supporting cast.
Kobe, he won't get it, but he's in there don't kid yourself. He's currently 3rd on most of the voters polls behind Rose and Howard. He's posting numbers in reality as good as any guy in the league if you spread his minutes to what the other guys are playing. Leads the league in scoring per 48. Has a top ranked PER. And the Lakers are finishing strong. Lets say they endup the top seed, or finish the season only losing one more game, Kobe plays well, he's gonna make it a close vote.

| Lakers should easily be first with their roster. Kobe is no where near MVP and Lebron is having a better year than him. Over 95% of experts say Rose is MVP and you're just being a Lakers homer if you say Kobe is more deserving. Howard has lead his team to 4th in the East which is worse than last year so no MVP for him. |

| You're both wrong. The scoring title and the MVP will go to Durant. He is the best in the league after all. | |

They coasted until the Allstar break, but there's an article on ESPN right now asking if Kobe is the MVP, so he's def right in the running. And never once said more deserving, highlighted Rose and the Bulls slipping leaving openings for Kobe or Dwight to get in. It has nothing to do with anything but being a basketball fan, just pointing out Rose isn't killing it like some might suggest, both Kobe and Dwight are posting better overall individual numbers. Is he playing great? yes. If they finish tops in the East should he get it? yes. But again, if they slip, Kobe or Dwight could make it close. And Dwight has the worst supporting cast of any of the candidates and is posting the best numbers. Again, Bronze isn't even the MVP of his own team.

| Are we overlooking Kobe Bryant as an MVP candidate? - Quote :
- Brian Windhorst, ESPN.com: When aren't we? I still say Kobe's best individual season was two years before he won his only MVP award, when he carried a mediocre team back to the playoffs by averaging 35 points. But I think a lot of the credit for the Lakers' surge belongs with a healthy Andrew Bynum as much as Kobe.
Overall, his minutes and numbers are down, he's readying for the playoffs, and I doubt he even cares about any regular-season award.

| No shit, I've watched Kobe since he entered the league, I know he wants rings the most, but just pointing out he's in the mix for MVP this season. | |
