I agree with this but i do feel he is good enough to jump up and take one of the top guys on any given night he just cant beat them consistantly. At Lightheavy ?? I can't really see Mike having success there even against the likes of Forrest and Tito. |

Problem with that is every1 else has more power there also. His chin cant stand up at LHW.

| Didn't the Hamill and Evans fights show why Bisping shouldn't be at Light Heavy. |

| I don't stack him up with those guys at all. He's a middle of the pack fighter who looks great against other middle of the pack fighters not quite closer to being a legit gatekeeper as him, such as Akiyama, Miller and Kang.
UFC might actually give this a guy a title shot one day after beating somebody like Akiyama...and shit is gonna get ugly.
He looked good tonight but it's nothing we've never seen from him before, only to fight Rashad, Hendo and Wandy and get controlled, knocked out cold and outclassed respectively.
Sorry, still not on the Bisping wagon and never was on the Akiyama wagon to be truly impressed with Bispings win.

I wouldn't call it a chin problem so much as a "holy fuck these guys hit hard" problem. Both times he got knocked around/out were against two guys who made themselves legends of the sport with toughness and heavy hands.

| I agree Ludo but when I say chin problems I mean that he leaves his chin out in open and backs up with it high in the air. | |

| That much I agree with. He was doing it early on last night even. But towards the end of the fight he finally stopped circling to his left and thats when he was really starting to pour it on. That is probably because Akiyama was about as mobile a scarecrow though. | |

| Yeah Sexyama looked pretty gassed by the middle of the 2nd into the third round. | |

| Akiyama really needs to get in shape or he's going to be without a job in the UFC very soon if not already. I wouldn't be surprised to see him cut after three straight losses. | |

| Sexy has won FOTN all 3 of his bouts so far and is still an Asian star I'm sure. I don't think he's in much danger. I'd like to see a drop to WW though and it sounds like Dana would too | |

| the division isn't the issue so much as him not being in shape. It won't matter if he's 185 or 155 if he can't keep his hands up after 7 and a half minutes of fighting. | |

| Good point. All they talked about is how he learned from the Leben fight and after the 1st round he looked exactly the same. | |

I wouldn't call it a chin problem so much as a "holy fuck these guys hit hard" problem. Both times he got knocked around/out were against two guys who made themselves legends of the sport with toughness and heavy hands. Aki, not known for his power, wobbled him early, as did Kang. Still recovering from the Hendo shot imo, but he works his way through the fog on most occasions.
