The feds aint worried about personal use though, not under Obama. Don't trip. They just want to target high level dealers, that is all. Unless the DEA kicks your door in or rips your car apart you aint in any trouble. State cops enforce state laws.

If they are "dealing" under the state law then the FED has no fucking right to impose shit but they will just like they are now with the medical pot shops. It's another example of elitist thinking only they know what's best for us, we're to dumb to decide our selves in their eyes.

This has been widely noted for the last few years now. The Feds will always be against it, even if the states legallize/decriminalize it. People trying to be or being in the position of Police officers, Firemen and all other government jobs alike will not be able to get position if theyre burning trees.

Aren't there jobs that require alcohol tests? wouldn't it be similar?

I agree with a lot here. The Feds would be doing the public a better service by making alcohol safer. Too many dead people because of alcohol.

Alcohol has been pumping MAD money, more than tobacco, to the Cali CoC to oppose this lately. They have a bogus ad about "your nurse smoking week, your school bus drivers smoking weed, etc..." It's lies because private policy and laws still say you can't work(in most all positions) or drive under any influence.

If it fails this will be a huge win for gangs and cartels, because it's how they create some of their revenue at a large scale and law enforcement because the war on drugs(almost exclusively marijuana) is where all agencies get the majority of their funding.

It's a never ending debate. It has obviously gotten a lot better in the last decade but I just don't see it being nationwide in my lifetime. I get it, alcohol and tobacco are worse, and they could tax the shit out of it. Same debate over and over and it's ridiculous that it's still illegal.

Stories like this just don't matter to me because it's the same bullshit over and over.
