Wolf is all about the letters on the glove. Total UFC homer.
His argument was in danger of going that way.
And did u notice his complement of Brock in there?

He has been a closet Brock fan for some time now. He actually agrees with Drew far more then he like to lead on.

Kongo would sprawl him I bet. Mir too. An athletic guy with takedown defense, which is something Kongo has when not facing Cain.

Anyway I don't trust the East European circuit that much. He has some good wins, is a decent, huge fighter, but his takedowns are pedestrian for someone with his cred and he offers nothing else. I also think Grawboski fought the wrong strategy, conceding the takedown. Konrad will be exposed soon enough.
Please...Kongo would be taken down with ease by Konrad. Don't get too caught up in his body, he is getting thinner and faster with each fight. The guy is a 2 time ncaa champ. That tells me that not only does he have the takedowns, but the mental strength to continually improve and work on his weak areas. Further, Kongo's takedown defense is very average. It is exactly what one would expect from a heavyweight with no background in wrestling. He can sprawl straight back, but does not get the nuances and differences in hip pressure needed when sprawling against a high level wrestler like Cain or Konrad. My guess is that Kongo sprawls the exact same way whether his opponent shoots a double, single, high crotch, etc., which is why he had not chance of stopping Cain. While I dont think Konrad will be as good as someone like Cain, he is definitley getting better with each fight and one day could be a top heavyweight (prob in another 2-3 years).

Not sure how long his contract with Bellator is, but seeing as he's having success with Bellator and is affiliated with Brock, don't be surprised if he signs a 4 fight deal with the UFC in not too long, Mitrione would be a great first fight.

Expect a champions clause to be in effect.

Bennett over commits to a punch combination and allows Konrad to body lock him and trip him, in the first, and doesn't get back up, but after that in the first round Konrad was never able to get him down again, and this was a D3 LHW sized guy.
Not sold. Never will be sold. Lashley> Konrad. Not every wrestler is inherently a winner.

Lashley was dominating that fight and in fairness he only lost because of some horrific reffing. His gas tank just gave out entirely.

Lashley showed a complete lack of toughness in that loss. I'd def pick Konrad over Lashley right now.
Lashley by the way, might be out of his SF contract, rumored to be fighting somewhere on the 12th of Dec.

Lashley won't fight anywhere unless he resigns with SF due to their matching period. He'd have to get permission even though his deal is technically up, and they wouldn't allow that unless he resigns.
