First Martin Scorsesse, now John Lennon's imagine, what next Citizen Kane and the Mona Lisa ?? Citizen Kane I didn't enjoy but I can see why filmakers adore it. I've seen enough films from the days before that to see how revolutionary the techniques were. Me? I'll take John Ford or Stanley Kubrick or David Lien. Painters? I dunno but portraits don't do it for me. I'll take van Gogh's craziness, Dali's lunacy or Michaelangelo's Sistine Chapel.
