Is gym and fight team the same category?

Because surely Wand's Fight Team has no done shit this year while Cesar Gracie Jiu Jitsu has done a bunch.

Yes, his Gym is Wand Fight Team.

I see that, i'm just trying to make sense of it being listed while Cesar Gracie and Team Quest...which also are gyms and far higher profile fight teams are not listed.

Well, once again the fan vote model proves to be no good. You gotta get people who know what they are talking about and give them a vote. Like when they select MVP's and such. Casual fans(who make up the majority of fight fans) see "Wand fight team" they think "oh, they must be one of the best...i like Axe Murderer" when they are an obscure nothing of a fight team and gym.


I tried watching this for 2009 and it was awful. If not for Arianny and a Randy Couture commercial. I would have been pissed that i wasted my time watching it.

Changin my Gym to Blackhouse, when I reevaluated it, it's not even close this year.

On best KO, Shogun's isn't a clean staight up KO, he clips Machida then KO's him with GnP, the rest are straight KO's, even if it was Rashad not sure it'd make my top 15, though I'd have to think about who KO'd who this year.

I'm a tad bit suprised Robbie Lawler's KO of Manhoef is not on there. It was brutal and he was getting his ass handed to him. Manhoef was OUT. I would have taken it over Franklin-Liddell anyway. I'm still suprised that punch knocked Liddell out.

Yeah that would be in my top 10, but I hate Lawler and think he's overrated as fuck so not the best person to weigh in on that one.

Franklin's in terms of appearance and opponent is top 5, but I agree that shit was sad that it KO'd Chuck.

It still doesn't change the fact that it wasn't a high quality back and fourth fight like Garcia vs Zombie or Sexyama vs Leben, Brock got pounded on for one round and then submitted Carwin when he gassed.
