I guess Roy is finally growing tired of losing tens of thousands of dollars on his promotions.

The saddest thing about this is that Roy wore the Captian Hook cheap costume store outfit again for no reason.

Does anyone know if Roy is broke? I know a great deal of champions fight past their prime but this is a little strange. If he's not broke, I fear he has brain damage which is affecting his judgement.

Why doesn't he fight on the under card to current champions to help stack PPVs?

Pride or can he only get the paydays he likes as the headliner?

That is pretty retarded. He could co-headline. If names like that were tacked onto other decent cards you could actually sell this shit again.

He has been shot for half a decade. He shouldn't be licensed. Only idiots will buy a PPV because of a completely shot fighter (used to be a name) is on the undercard.

He's shot. A blind guy can see that, but if he swallowed a little pride and got on an undercard, it would work better for him and the card. Problem is, what undercard would it be? Boxing can't seem to get a superfight going at all.

True, but even fewer idiots will buy a PPV with a shot fighter as the headliner. If Jones wasn't so prideful and was smarter as a businessman he would either:

A) Hang 'em and actually focus on promoting, or

B) Think about using his name (such as it is) to help build other fighters by fighting on their undercards.

Toronto was very enjoyable, thank you. Caught up with an old friend. Ate some good food. Enjoyed wine, women, and song.

This model works in MMA. Throw some names, some up and comers, and some title fights on one card and you pull in three types of buyers and build up your base for future cards.
