The real reason behind Todd Duffee getting axed from the UFC is finally revealed ??

After his shock exit from the ranks of the UFC’s heavyweight ranks last month speculation was rife as to why Todd Duffee had p*ssed of Dana White and his merry men so much, well finally it looks like the full truth has finally come out.

This from Travis over at MMA Scraps Radio earlier this week:

“Original fight (before Russow) was McSweeny but Duffee turned it down for a ‘bigger named opponent’ He fights and losses, but that isn’t that big of a deal (it ends up being the way UFC can release him, but whatever) He accepts fight with Madsen, but then pulls out after mentioning that he needed time to do a movie. Apparently after that, he then said he was injured.”

“UFC asked for paperwork from his doctor and it was sent, so he was covered there. He was given the go ahead to do the movie He tweeted some stuff about being broke and made comments about needing money. The final straw was when he talked a bunch of crap about the UFC to one of the UFC employee’s wives and Dana found out about it. That sealed the deal. Dana ordered him fired.”

Todd is a talented heavyweight prospect, the guy just needs an attitude adjustment.

When they say he was talking shit about the UFC they probably mean he was talking shit about Dana White or how it's run by Dana White and the brothers.

That is something that you don't want your boss to find out about in any job setting. Including MMA. Guys like Rampage, Koscheck, etc. get away with it because they bring something to the table. Todd Duffee does not bring shit and IMO was a limited prospect at best. Pretty much just a blown up, younger, and quicker Paul Buentello.

Shit attitude does not pay when nobody knows who you are and your last fight being a humiliating KO makes you extremely expendable.

I'll go with deserving cut. Only so much a boss is going to take.

But end of the day, if duffee is any good, it won't matter he'll climb the ladder somewhere.
