I too think Margarito has a shot. We're what? Seven weeks out from the fight? That video tells me precisely nothing...but I hope he was just warming up

He has a shot if his punch resistance and reflexes aren't gone!!! The guy who walked through Cotto's shots (and Clottey's and Cintron's and PW's) could stand up to Pac's punches long enough to land the uppercut and/or body shots.

The Margarito who looked shot against Mosley and lackluster in his comeback fight, has no shot.

I lean towards the fact that the Margarito that beat Cotto (and alot of other top 147 pounders) is gone. But you never know. There was multiple people who said he was really struggling with weight prior to the Mosley fight.

Damn. Those body shots at the end looked heavy.

The key here will be if Manny does his macho thing and tries to prove he can take Tony's shots, if he does that then Margarito could possibly wear him down.

yeah i knew margarito had slight weight problems before the mosley fight. the reason i knew is because i was actually present there in the weigh in because it was free for the public.

margarito i remember weighed in at 145 and something about his demeanor didnt look right to me. he was drinking electrolyte fluid like he was dying man. at least thats what i took from what i witnessed and i just had a real bad feeling about the fight.

some folks will probably say that if margarito was not drained he would have maybe beaten mosley.

i strongly disagree because of the style match up. i dont care if the margarito that fought cotto showed up against mosley that night, margarito had NO ANSWER for mosley's clinching. margarito makes no adjustments hes just like pacquiao in that he doesnt adjust he overwhelms you with volume. mosley basically shutdown margarito with his tactical clinching and threw margarito like a ragdoll. mosley's physical strengh screwed margarito up because margarito is use to usually being the stronger guy. margarito imo only goes the distance if the margarito that fought cotto showed up against mosley.

I think the Cotto fight and a career of tough fights has taken it's toll on the Margarito. he's finished as far as I can tell.
