The Ultimate Fighting Championship's global footprint continues to grow, and the company today announced a new deal to expand the company's television presence in Latin America.

Beginning with this weekend's UFC 119 event, FOX Sports en Latinoamérica will air a wide variety of UFC programming that includes live fight cards as well as pre-recorded programming.

"South America is a huge market for the UFC," UFC president Dana White stated in today's release. "We look forward to working with FOX Sports Latin America to bring UFC events to fight fans all across the region."

FOX Sports en Latinoamérica is a Spanish-language cable channel that broadcasts sports-related programming 24 hours a day. The network is seen in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

In addition to the live event broadcasts, FOX Sports en Latinoamérica will also feature the highlight show "UFC Guerreros" and a Spanish-language version of the "UFC Countdown" program that previews each of the fight promotion's major events.

FOX Sports en Latinoamérica, based in Argentina, is billed as the most widely distributed Spanish-language pay television sports network in the world. Terms of the deal with the UFC were not released.

Never dude. It wouldn't make any sense for the UFC to show the US that kind of love.

Those foreign brands are hardly even considered the same network. ESPN Japan airs a lot of Japanese MMA etc.
