Agreed.I think on that night Buster would have beat Wlad. He wasn't the champ that night so he only counts after that fight. |

| I think Wlad is one of the best HWs we have seen in a long time (call me crazy), by the end of his career he will certainly be a top 10. He'll beat Douglas and Tyson. Broddock hahaha dont make me laugh.
sadly you made me laugh and then cry and then punch a Pinata with Diego written on it

...a very good heavyweight yes..perhaps even a near great..a top ten..why..do the names corrie sanders ross puritty and brewster come to mind..there 3 great reasons why hes not a top tener..wins by descion or late rounds with stiffs like ibragiovc thompson mc cline and peter going down 3 times plus a calvin brock etc etc also stop him from achieveing top ten..lets not get carried away..

| Corbett, Burns, Fitzsimmons, Hart, Carnera, Braddock, Leon, Shannon Briggs, Hasim Rahman.
The thing is the following guys knock him absolutely senseless inside of six rounds. Sullivan, Jeffries, Johnson, Dempsey, Schmeling, Baer, Louis,Ezzard, Marciano, Liston, Smokin Joe, Evander, Riddick (on his best night), Big George and Lennox.
I just don't think he's competitive with that level. I admire greatly how Wlad is going about his business. But in a round robin kind of affair? He finishes pretty far down the pack.

He finishes pretty far down the pack. i would actually add ali to that list. if ali didnt actually knock him out within 6, the fight would at least be stopped on cuts by the 6th. i think that patterson has a chance but he had a glass jaw as well. as long as patterson could use his quickness to stay away, i think that he ends it early. johansson would also be a toss up. not the greatest fighter but had a good punch. holmes also easily beats wlad and stops him on cuts.

| IMO it's basically impossible to say how Wald would do against the list of Champs. What's his best win - Sam Peter? Chagaev? Along with KO losses to bums Sanders and Brewster.
Really what do we know about this guy? Clearly the guy has physical tools, but against that level of competition there's just no way to fairly extrapolate.

I'm not sure that concept really exists anyway That's probably true; but it's even moreso in Wlad's case. Most eras the Heavyweight Champ would have proven much more by this point and that makes these hypothetical comparisons a bit easier.
