de leon impressed me. he looks better than he used to be. i still dont think that he will ever be a top guy in this stacked featherweight division but he is a pretty good fighter.

Yoriorkis Gamboa shouldn't want any of that guy. I mean Gamboa would win every minute of every round...but what happens if De Leon hits him?

I dunno. I'm working pretty hard sticking pins in my Victor Ortiz doll (appropriately used to be a Barbie).

De Leon had a trinket (I know Marble ignore the trinkets) and defended it 4 or 5 times. Then Lopez blasted him out early. He has won 5-6 fights since then against increasing competition.
He has adopted a more patient style(anything is more patient than just throwing 110 punches a round) but he has power and his fights are always good.
