| http://bleacherreport.com/articles/461569-ines-sainz-new-york-jets-owner-apologizes-for-harassment-she-acceptsWoody Johnson has apologized to Ines Sainz for elleged harassment by Jets players... And she has accepted the apology. Brings an interesting question to light. Should female reporters be allowed in mens locker rooms? Are we at a place in society where men can and should be expected to act civilly around professional women in the locker room? Of course... I know we occasionally hear about incidents like this one, but I think that for the most part the athletes are respectful. I don't think it's as big of an issue as the media makes it out to be on the rare occasion something happens (Not discounting the incidents themselves when they occur... Just saying much of the media makes it sound like all men are pigs when reporting on these issues). I do think that guys should be held accountable for their actions as long as women are in the locker room and should be expected to act respectfully. As to the question of whether or not women should be allowed... Of course they should, but the men should also be allowed a shower and warm down time before ANY reporters are allowed in. There's no reason a guy should have to carry out an interview with anyone if he hasn't had time to get a shower and get dressed first. The professionalism goes both ways and the media should respect the players as well. And it would make things on all sides a hell of a lot less uncomfortable... | |

If you have a press badge, apparently you can. But have you seen most female ahletes? Ewww. Yet I have a feeling that the rules are slightly different and structured a little more like what I described as far as giving them time to shower and dress first...

| Opening locker rooms was, is, and will remain a HORRIBLE idea.
Should the Jets have apologized? Sure. Apologies are easy. But they should never have been put in that spot.

| Has anyone every landed anything other than loose slut through cat-calls and hooting and whistling amongst buddies? I haven't but I don't act like a dip shit because a girl is cute.
But, it's is probably a better idea to make lockers gender segregated because it's seems likely to me that pro athletes don't generally know how or have reason to respect women for the most part. They have either had chicks lay down around them or get paid to lay down for a long time. You can't realistically expect decency. Those dudes probably see a cute chick and think prostitute, fun.
Do male reporters get access to woman's locker rooms? I don't know. I think there would be a bunch of problems with that. No reason that shouldn't go both ways.

The question was asked and answered on a sports show I was listening to this morning on Sirius. They do have access. Like I told Soko earlier though, I'd be willing to bet the restrictions are much tighter than going the other way...

| They were wrong, but what is TV Azteca doing? Why is she wearing that outfit? I believe it is the same tv station that had a "reporter" go to the super bowl a few years ago with the chick in a wedding dress and she wanted to marry Tom Brady. Hard to take them seriously. | |

She calls herself, "The hottest reporter in Mexico". She obviously intentionally uses her sexuality to her benefit. And to be fair, she apparently wasn't the one who complained about the players behavior. But she didn't run the other way or put her hand up to put a stop when the issue made news either.
