PostSubject: Dirtiest fights?   Dirtiest fights? EmptyThu Sep 09, 2010 4:38 pm

Just watching some fights and I came across Gatti vs Hutchinson. This had to be one of the dirtiest fights ever. Hutchinson splits both of Gatti's eyes open with headbutts, early...2nd & 3rd rounds. Gatti retaliates with some low blows & then blatantly tries to run into him with his head. Tons of back & forth action. This fight could've been in an alley.
So, this got me thinking....what are the dirtiest fights you've ever heard of or witnessed? I recall Sadler/Pep being called one and of course Holyfield/Tyson...........

Saddler Pep IV was so bad both guys were banned from fighting in New York for a year.

The first Zivic-Armstrong fright was seriously bad news.

Any Eusabio Pedroza fight I ever saw was foul marred. he made BHOP look like a choirboy.

Harry Greb vs.Kid Norfolk.Greb went blind in one eye due to the constant thumbing by Norfolk. In the rematch Greb was so frustrated by Norfolk that he blatantly headbutted him, causing a stoppage to the fight.Norfolk also gave Battling Siki one helluva beating as well.Norfolk was as dirty as they came.
