That was a dirty fight and I think you have nailed it. Though I also thought of Royce vs. Kimbo, with the whole hair pulling and Keith Hackney vs Joe Son with the barrage of nut punches they too could be in the running.

I'd probably say Kongo kneeing CC in the nuts upwards of like 5 times and not hardly getting a warning. Kongo is just a dirty fighter. My opinion on Frank Mir changed dramatically when he KO'd and sub'd him in the same fight in under 120 seconds.


GSP kicking Hughes in the nuts twice just to set up a headkick is another fight that comes to mind.

Even as a Hughes fan I don't think GSP was doing it on purpose. That said, I think that helped set up the headkick...big time!

I like how they freeze framed GSP after the second kick to the balls right after Hughes reengages from the first and played "opps I did it again" by Britney Spears. Priceless.

The "Phony" business was hilarious too.

Frank Trigg landing a clinch knee to Hughes' coin purse and Yamasaki not stopping the fight while Trigg starts blasting him in the head and almost finishes him.

Any Royce Gracie fight when he wore a Gi. Using the Gi, hair pulling, strikes to the back of the head, choking guys to long, and holding a limb until it breaks. That was his way.

No street fight can be considered dirty. On the street I'll do whatever I can to make sure I'm the one who wins. If I even think a guy can take me standing I'll kick him square in the nutts to get the advantage. You can't worry about rules on the street what if the other guy has no problem killing you or has a weapon he was hidding? You can't take chances on the street.

Soko's finish of Nortje was dirty. The fight itself wasn't though.
