Surprise surprise, guess who's Andre Dirrell's advisor ?

Although Shaw is Dirrell's promoter, he does not call the shots. Adviser Al Haymon does, which Shaw acknowledged. Shaw said he has not negotiated a site with Goossen.

Great....I can see Dirrell's career going in to permanent stall. They're having a hard enough time putting the Super 6 fight together as it is. After the tourny Haymon will have him waiting two years & then face Allan Green.

The exception is Andrade, who I believe is managed by Haymon. He seems to always be getting hit. In fact I could throw out one of my arms right now and my fist would probably land right on his chin.

Of course Dirrell isn't going to fight Ward. If he is advised by Haymon it is required that Dirrell get paid at least 50% above market value. HBO does that, but Showtime is a bit more reasonable.

Is Gary Shaw a good boxing promoter? As it stands right now he's the worst MMA promoter of all time.

as of right know he has Rafael Marquez (big time win), Chad Dawson, Dirrell, Vic Darchinyan, and Tim Bradley and oh ya KIMBO SLICE

He aslo advises Gary Russell Jr, I hope he doesnt fuck him up either. I think he advised Roy Jones but Im not too sure. Haymon needs to get his guys fighting, especially the young guys. In terms of his job, hes doing a good Job. hes getting his fighters big bucks and TV date, problem is, they never fight. The fighters he has arent getting any better. SInce they came on the scene his fighters best young fighters PW, Arreola, and Berto havent imrpoved. Staying busy IMPROVES FIGHTERS! Russell however looks to be an amazing prospect, im always impressed when I watch him. Haymond better get Jacobs a few more fights this year, whether if they pay or not. A young fighter like Jacobs coming off a loss needs to get wins under his belt for confidance.
