Yup. I think Hatton is a serious challenge for Miguel at that point. I'd have loved to see how he handled the pressure at 140 that he couldn't at 147. I also think Cotto could have stayed at 140. He just LOOKED puffy at 147 (there's my entire analysis). Had he stayed there, coulda had a pretty doggone good run.

Cotto always had trouble making the weight though. His last fight at 140 against Malignaggi, the weigh in was 36 hours before the fight.

Yes Ali I agree. So was Hopkins and so was Lacy Before Joe ruined him, so was Bika. And Eubanks was nothing to sneeze at. Last I checked Hopkins was a top 5 pound for pound on most lists at the time Joe taught him a lesson. It doesn't matter who Joe would have beat, he would forever after be known as a bum. I long ago tired of hearing this.

The fight was about to happen until Vince Phillips knocked out Tszyu.

If they fought at Welterweight. It surprised me that Kostya spent his whole career at JW.
