| in what sounds like an uneventful fight. Did they mention it during the telecast? Too bad they couldn't squeeze it in, they really should show 5 fights. Start the event at 10 pm EST instead of 10:30 and show 5 fights.
Is Heiron Diaz rescheduled? or do they go a different direction?

| Coker said they'll make that fight for November. I guess Riggs is now out of the title fight entirely, for now. But this is good since it shows growing depth and already leaves a respectable title contender out there for Hieron or Diaz. | |

| taylor is becoming such an under achiever in my book. On TUF I thought for sure he would be a force to be reconed with but it doesnt look like he will be at least for now. | |

Reading the sherdog play by play, he was shooting for takedowns all night, and was stuffed every time but one.

| Jay Hieron has been in my top ten welterweights or near my top ten welterweights for like three years. Taylor is young and up and coming. This is his first loss in 8 fights since CB.
Strikeforce should lock him up to add further depth in this division.

He probably wasnt supposed to win last night but he was supposed to have a good showing and from what I heard he didnt. Thats all im saying.

| How much of a camp did he have to prepare for this? Oh ya, none.
Hieron in my opinion could hang with Swick or Kampmann. I think he could make UFC noise.
Taylor will be better if he continues improving with Henderson.

| Hieron is good and a fight against nick for the belt would be awsome. I'd go with Diaz though. | |

| Actually, I just remembered the reason Heiron signed with Strikeforce was because he was to be given a title shot. So I guess it has to be Heiron vs Diaz for the belt next. | |
