| I know this looks like the blue print of a straight borefest, but if Hieron can stay keep this fight standing, and I would think that despite having a pretty good top game, he wants no part of a grappling affair, then I think he could actually end this fight early.
Also could be interesting to see if Askren has developed any sort of striking game.

| Not much of one. Heiron will probably have nothing off his back and he'll end up there throughout the fight | |

| Very close fight. Scored it a draw.
1st: 10-10
2nd: 10-9 Askren
3rd: 10-9 Herion
4th: 10-9 Askren
5th: 10-9 Herion
1st, 3rd, and 4th all could of been scored 10-10.
Askren clearly won round 2 and Herion won round 5.

Fight was so odd... Rounds 1,3,4 he landed the harder shots against Herion. While Herion landed more and cleaner. Round 2 Askren took Jay down and pummled him, busted him up really bad. This was the only takedown Askren was able to get the entire fight though...Jay's sprawl was awesome. Round 5 Jay put a boxing clinic on Ben and landed a spin back kick from hell. Was doing a Nick Diaz on him.

| I thought Askren's standup looked better then it has in the past (not saying much), but overall, proved that he needs a lot more work before he will be able to make any waves in the UFC. His transitions did not look smooth at all. Have to give Heiron a lot of respect, his wrestling was on point Saturday night, which gave Askren a lot of trouble. Askren is going to need another year or two before he is going to be able to legitimately compete with the best UFC welterweights (though, by the looks of him, he could probably drop to 155). | |

| I'll have to watch it again but I thought Jay won that fight. I didn't get to see that second round tho cause for whatever reason my dvr fucked up and somehow skipped the second round and went right to the third so maybe thats why I feel that way but I though Jay won that fight. | |

It was the dominant round of the fight. Askren busted Jay up.

| I'll still have to rewatch it but just accepting your take Ninja Ben dominates the second. Jay dominated the fifth, I feel like Jay still could've pulled it off but I just got to see it again. Either way super close fight | |

| I thought Hieron won or a draw with the first being 10-10.
Some wild HW action again. Santos is gonna beat Prindle I think.

| Hmm, through 4, I thought Askren was in total control, did not watch the 5th assuming it was to be more of the same. I'll watch the fight again, and see what's up.
Santos vs Prindle should be fun. Santos has the more varied attack. Figure he figures out a way to win. But Prindle does have KO power.
Santos prob bring more credibility to a konrad match up.

| Jay owned Ben in the fifth, but I forgot to watch the fight again last night cause I was trick or treating with my lil ones. I'll check it out again tonight cause it's kinda bugging me. | |
