He does not know how to. He plods forward and throws in volume.
Shane had some side to side movement and could throw punches while backing. Pac is not know for punching while backing. In fact Pac does not know how to back up and fight at the same time. Sure Pac has terrific side to side moves and good angles but if Margo could take Pac's punches, we might see Pac defeated. Or am I grasping...............................?

Anther factor is the fight will be at Jr Middleweight, the extra weight might take it's toll on Pacquiao's 5'6 frame.

I got enough faith in Pacquiao's boxing ability that I don't think this fight is as close as some people think.

Once again, I think foot and hand speed is going to be the deciding factor. Sure, Margarito is large, but he isn't going to connect often and he is not a 1 punch KO artist. Margarito is a guy who wears people down with pressure and volume. And who knows how much of that "wearing people down" was attributed to his loaded gloves either.

I see him being more competitive than Clottey, which isn't saying much, but I don't see this fight being particularly competitive overall. Pacquiao is going to dart in, throw a combination, and get out of harms way.

It'll be vintage Pacman, and Margarito will have no answer for it. Antonio just doesn't have the tools necessary in my opinion.

I'd be extremely shocked if this fight isn't one sided on the scorecards, and absolutely falling out of my chair if Pacquiao lost. I'd have to wait till the next day to sober up to make sure I saw what I saw.

There is only one way for boxing fans to send a message:

DON'T BUY THE FIGHT

Of course Arum knows that is possible from some fans so he will load the undercard (for once) and try to entice people to tune in to watch the undercard while hoping that Pac gives Margarito what he deserves.

We know what's in it for Arum. What's in it for Pac? Arum is not acting in PacDiva's best interst and Pac's managers should see that.

What MAY be the flaw in your argument is they could believe the Floyd fight will never happen. So it is irrelevant to their thinking.

if the fight does under a million lets say 950 000 that would be 75 thousand less then the floyd -mosley fight which almost every boxing fan thought was more desireable in the first place.with don king in floyds corner he can be the only person to talk reason to floyd so a 50-50 split is very possible especialy if the fight draws 60thousand or more fans live at the gate..what if this fight actualy out does the mosley fight..does that mean its out the window for floyd at 50-50 nope...1.i think like marble that there is a posibilty that fight wont occur..with king in the corner it increases the odds of it happening a lot...myself i can see at best a 52-48 split in floyds favor or 50-50 and thats very fair..
mannys run at fightining bigger guys and wining will perhaps run out soon..margo could pull an upset and if floyd fights someone decent first that could also happen..there are tooo many variables here to speculate the what ifs..pacs going to make a lot of money in this fight..margo gets his biggest payday.if margo wins its either cotto or floyd for him and manny could fight again someone else and still make great money and retire..
if margo wins and fights cotto and pac fights a berto or the winner of alexander -bradley which could happen its floyd left out in the cold forcing a willams fight or a far less money making fight...arum im sure has thought this out..soo its not a diservice to manny at all..the reasoning is pacs far more willing to fight top competion then floyd is especialy if kings not involved...

ill watch there fights via a stream..i dont blame sooner for going to the card live..its pavik pac margo and others involved..enough starpower to say im going like sooner said..its enough starpower to negate the negative thoughts on margo...its not a good move on arums part its a great move for all involved i think.
