No they don't, however the drive burns out faster and is alot more expensive to replace since it reads Blu Ray as well.

Well I just bought a new xbox. FUCK. I hate spending money in situations like that. Yesterday my braun electric razor went out and I had to buy a new one. This has been an expensive week.

PS3 is still garbage.

Do you guys not allow them to vent properly? Sometimes if you have them in enclosed spaces...dust and dirt will get backed up in the fan, thus causing them to overheat.

Yeah both of us have them on a shelf that is open. There is nothing to keep it from venting. Last time my harddrive was corrupted. The time before that I cant remember and this time I just dont care enough because I bought another one.

Thats weird man. I've had my original 360 since it came out, and my original xbox from when that first came out and never got a red ring on either.

I had mine for 3 years before the first red ring. My bet is they didnt really fix the problem the first time and they are just dicking us all around to get us to do exactly what I just did. Buy another one.
