Much better than The Hurt Locker. But "The Hurt Locker" asks no questions and plays it safe, so everyone loved it. I can see why this movie is controversial.

I always see this movie and think about renting it but never do. I haven't see Hurt Locker, I'm not really into those new war movies. Is this one worth checking out?

I second that motion. There was this utterly painstakingly slow section abour 3/4 into the movie.

United 93 is a much better example of how great Paul Greengrass can be.

There was one great scene from the movie that I really liked, where the marines walk out from the war-torn streets of Bagdhad into the hotel lobby with the pool and domino's pizza's.

they are completely different movies. At least greenzone paints a realistic view of what is going on over there.

I think it's one of the best war films I've seen. Especially in the modern vein. Better than Black Hawk Down and The Hurt Locker.

The Hurt Locker was overrated and Black Hawk Down just pissed me off.
