The studio wants to erase the memory of the previous films and milk the franchise for more dollars.

| They won't erase shit. Hollywood overkill. They probably had a bad contract with Mattel and got something worked out with Hasbro now but they need to pop out a new movie for the line. | |

| I understand why movies from the 70s and 80s would be remade. Redo them for a new generation. Even though most of these films are downright shit, I get the general idea. But rebooting movies that are less than 10 years old???? Any person that goes to see them needs to have his or her head examined. | |

You say that Captain but there wasn't a huge gap between Batman Forever and Batman Begins. |
