| Michael Spinks vs. Evander Holyfield.
No doubt, there are all kinds of intangibles that people will bring up, however I think the number one factor is whether Spinks can take Evander’s punch. Spinks couldn’t take a HW punch at all. Is that a factor at CW? I’m matching the Evander who took Dwight Braxton out in 4 rounds against the Spinks who fought Holmes the first time. (Michael weighed in at 200 for that one.) They meet at 190. Who wins and why?

| Holy wears him down ans stops him late @190.If this fight was at 175,I may lean towards Spinks. | |

| to me not so much a question if spinks could take holy's punch,i think he could because this fight he doesn't come in beaten(scared)like against tyson.the question is could he avoid &/or handle the real deal's pressure over q15(my choice rounds).i'm guessing no,but if it was 12 rounds, his chances increase.the spinx jinx vs the real deal.now this would be a fight that tragics die for.no matter the result, whether elated or deflated, all would go home sated! | |

| Spinks couldn't take a heavyweight's punch? Really? 30 rounds with Larry Holmes and a KO win over Gerry Cooney? He was psychologically whipped by Tyson as anything else. But either way Evander was not a huge puncher at heavy.
Boy is this tough. Evander makes him work all night long and my guess is Spinks can hurt Evander with the right hand. I think Spinks is the smarter ring general, Holyfield the tougher man. They are about the same size.
I am at a loss here. | |

| That would be an amazing fight. I think Spinks would be ahead late but Evander would be still coming hard. Lots of drama in the late rounds in my opinion.
If we had a dream cruiserweight fight of current fighters it would be Haye vs Adamek. that would undoubtedly see both guys down.

I am at a loss here. Holmes was washed up. If you watched the Spinks - Cooney fight, you saw Spinks knock Gerry down 5 or 6 times. However, one part of the fight stays with me. Spinks had Cooney on the ropes ready to go and Gerry pops out his left hand. Spinks goes halfway across the ring and collects himself. Cooney is too dazed (No chin either) to do anything about it. Also, an old Holmes had him out in the 14th round in their 2nd fight, but was too tired to finish him. Sure, next to Bob Foster vs. Frazier or Ali, he looked like a steel chinned assasin, but that's no compliment.
