The Lewis knockout is my favorite of all time, it was sweet revenge.
Ray Mercer savaging Morrison is the most brutal.

well sorry dont watch it but its one of the msot famous KOs and worst stoppages in boxing history plus it comes with a back story
the two hated each other, Emile Griffith was rumored to be a homosexual, dont know or care if he is
Paret called him a faggot at the weigh in and all hell broke loose, then that happened in the 12th round

Why was Joe Louis figting a 60 year old fat guy? That dude wouldn't even be able to outstrike Andy Wang now days. Pathetic! You could tell the ref tried to help him up for a sec too. He even had a half a pound of vaseline on his eye before Joe KO'd him. Fights back then were fixed anyways.

wow beast you proved you dont know much about old time boxing
Tony Galento was a game as hell boxer with wins over Lou Nova and wars with Max Baer
and if you are presuming to say they fixed fights for a black guy to win back then your nuts
Galentos record was 80-26-5 , said he wanted to rape Joes wife before the fight then kill them

a reporter famously asked Galento "Tony what do you think of William Shakespeare?"
to which Galento replied, "who is he some fighter? I'll moida da bum"

No I meant they tried to fix it for the other guy. You can't tell me that ref wasn't helping him up when Joe clocked him. It took him a full five seconds to call the fight, when I saw it was over as soon as he stood up (with help). Either way I don't know much about boxing outside of the 80's and 90's. I had never even heard of the old fat white guy before tonight. Sorry Bird, but I don't ever see myself caring about boxing much anymore. I watched RJJ vs Toney the other day because of Ali's sig. Other than that I may watch an old fight here in there from the 80's and 90's. Before and after that era it is hairy balls to me. I want no part of it. I will watch Pac vs PBF if it happens? Even I know better!

sorry for being prissy im a sadist for the old school
honestly the old time was better
you had guys like Louis holding the title for 12 years and 25 defenses and guys like Henry Armstrong defending his title 27 times in 1 and a half years. RJJ owned a completely weight drained Toney, Toney used diaretics to drop 20+ pounds 2 days before the fight and was on an IV, he hated his manager for taking that fight and threatened to kill her and her sons. It was one big fat mess

moida da bum
coined by one mister Two Ton Tony Galento
there is also a story that Jackie Gleason was doing a stand up show and kept getting heckled he got sick of it went to the man got nose to nose and said lets settle this in the alley, Gleason woke up about an hour later compliments of Two Ton.
talk about picking an alley fight with the wrong guy

Louis ^^^
Ray Robinson ^ before you talk trash about him realize no footage in his prime exists, this is when he is mid 30's
