Yo he was the third overall pick and had to be talked down from killing himself a week into his second year. He almost retired because he couldn't handle it. The only thing separating Young from those QB's is the Titans had Albert Haynesworth before he got fat and didn't give a fuck. Young is garbage.

Vince Young isn't a good starting QB. He will never be a good starting QB. He was the third overall pick. I've never seen a player who is so mentally unfit for the NFL with such overall terrible play that has been propped up by fans, the NFL and the media as Vince Young. His numbers suck, his day to day play sucks, he is literally too stupid to understand the NFL and is mentally weak. The Titans defense and running game won games inspite of Young.

As far as I am concerned the voting of him to Rookie of the Year was a joke that rendered the award valueless. Colston was robbed blind that year.

People mention a drive here, a play there, or say stupid shit like "well hes just a winner". What a joke. There will never, ever, ever come a situation where VY isn't an interception machine who can't make the reads.

At his best he is an average passer, at worst he is the worst starting QB in the NFL bar none.

Completion pct. 57%

JaMarcus Russell: Drafted 3rd in 2007

Qb rating 65.2

TD/INT 18/23

Rushing TD/fumbles 1/3

Tarvaris Jackson

Completion pct. 58.7%

Qb rating 77.9

Rushing TD/fumbles 4/4

Brady Quinn

Completion pct. 52.1%

Qb rating 66.8

Rushing TD/fumbles 1/1

Those are just to name a few. Case wide open.

Tavaris gets a raw deal with Brets ass right on his back every year. He never knows if he is playing or riding the bench. Farve is single handlely destroying Tavaris Jacksons career.

The fact that the Vikings would install Favre as their starting QB if he came back the night before the first game shows what they think of Jackson

Bobbitt there are about 25 teams that would install Brett if he decided to come play for there team. Its more of an indication of the league not Tavaris in my opion.

Actually Tarvaris spent 3 seasons actually playing and started 2 seasons in a row before getting hurt/benched and replaced by Gus Ferrotte who went on fire. in those three seasons(which I guess you can forget 06 because Brad Johnson was our starter) he never broke 60% completion, and never had more TD's than INT's. If you include his fumbles his turnover ratio is -7 with 21 TD's and 28 Turnovers. He didn't get a raw deal, he just doesn't have the poise he needs to be a starting QB in the NFL. He makes bad decisions.

But if you remember Gabe was supposed to be the best heavyweight since Minotauro when he hit the scene too. I think it was alot of the hype plus the mentality that straight grappling>straight striking in MMA.

Randy picks are pretty dead on. He has picked alot of upsets and he is very knowledgeable about the sport so I dont think he gets lucky.
