| No, not Cain. George Sotiropolous. Where did this guy come from? I have watched all his fights and although he looked decent I never thought much of him since he was facing cans. His domination over Joe caught me off guard. It is a far cry from losing to Tommy Spear on TUF. | |

| Yeah, what a beast. He looked real good. Get him a fight with Gray Maynard as a no. 1 contender fight. | |

| He's not in position for a #1 contender fight yet. That's his first nice win basically. I'd like to see him get a fight with Sherk | |

I know he's not. I don't even actually agree with myself. But I was just soooo impressed by his great head movement, I've always been impressed by his grappling skills. He's definitely a beast, and I'm so worked up about how well he did. I was telling all my friends not to sleep on him, but even then I didn't have the balls to pull the trigger on him for my picks. How stupid I feel now.

| He has a huge advantage in his division that is full of wrestlers and his ground game is so dynamic. | |

| I was shocked to chorky, I was watching this at a bar like fuck George looks good, I picked Joe Dadyy but he got fucking owned. That 2nd round was gret, gogo plata, to a heel hook to a triangle I was loving it. | |

| How much of a bump does this impressive win give him in the rankings? He's probably gonna be number 6 for me. I'm looking forward to see how high he jumps in our next ranking vote. | |

| A win over Joe Daddy vaults him past established top ten guys? Eh chorky.
He moves into the top 20 for sure though.
BJ has another defense, maybe two, and then he is out of LW forever. Build George up against solid LW's such as Guida, Batman ect so he can fight for the vacant LW title in a year against Gray Maynard when the UFC goes back down under.

| He just got done dominating a guy who's better than Guida. That's a step down. I'd rather see him fight another high quality opponent like Sherk | |

I just think the lightweight division is so good that the difference between the number 6 guy and the number 15 guy is almost negligible. I think the established contenders are in the top 4 with Penn, Florian, Alvarez, and Aoki then there's the next crop that I think George should be considered in with Maynard, Edgar, Sherk, Griffin, Kawajiri, Miller, Melendez, Henderson, you get the point. There's a pretty established top few then there's just a clusterfuck of the next guys, and I really like George against most of those guys. He's really seemed to catch on to the stand up game while also improving his already very solid ground game. His head movement impressed, he utilized a very good jab to keep Stevenson at bay, his bottom control was better than anyone's I've seen in a while. Seriously, normally I want to punch myself in the head when I see people trying rubber guard in fights, but Sotiroupolos showed that he actually knew what he was doing. I just feel like his skills are waaaaay ahead of those like Pelligrino and Guida right now. I mean, I would like those fights for him, but they seem like easy wins. I'd like him to fight some guys in that clusterfuck I was talking about earlier.

| Sotiropolous was the most impressive fighter of the night. He really made a statement in that fight totally deflating Joes recent momentum and making Joe look the exact opposite of what I predicted, outclassed and in over his head. Someone said he looks like a way better Nick Diaz, I could agree with that. His BJJ was insane and he looked like he was making an instructional video in punishing Joe and his boxing looked as pro as it gets. Jackson camp showed bad tonight. As far as top talent, yes he has, but you can't crash a party with as man guests as the LW division has weather deserving or not. But what the guy has been doing is undeniable, he has been tooling opponents, and the best opponent he has faced yet aside from Akoi, was his most one sided performance. | |

| Daddy's standup looked god awful last night. He was a punching bag that had nothing to offer except leaping in hooks that didn't come with 2 feet of landing the whole fight | |

| Who neg'd Chorky? While I wouldn't dream of putting George in the top ten with this first real win against real opposition, he defended his posititon with a really logical answer. Honestly it was the first opinion from chorky that has made sense in quite a long while. I rec'd him. - Quote :

Agreed. But where my issue is, why vault him over 9 guys with a lot of wins like the single one George has had?

And as for vaulting him, over the others, I think it's just a personal preference to his style. I think he gives more offensive problems than a lot of the other guys.

| One thing George needs to really work on is his right hand. He seems to push it from the shoulder too much, which is hurting his power. But that jab is just awesome. | |
