| BoxingScene.com has learned that an HBO televised triple-header is being explored for a tentative date of October 2. The card would feature three world champions, with WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto, WBO junior middleweight champion Sergei Dzinziruk and WBA super flyweight champion Celestin Caballero sharing a triple-bill As previously reported, one opponent in mind for Dzinziruk is former champion Luis Collazo. Regarding Berto, there are two scenarios being kicked around. The first scenario is a possible defense against Andriy Kotelnik, who last Saturday gave Devon Alexander all he could handle. The other would have Berto move up to 154 to challenge the new IBF champion, Cornelius Bundrage. Caballero is always tricky in terms of securing an opponent, but fighters like Jason Litzau, Jorge Solis and Matt Remillard are possibilities floating around. Nothing has been approved by HBO, including the idea of a triple header or the target date, but the network is willing to listen if the right fights are put together. http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=30004 |

| Sergei D vs Collazo I have no problem with
Berto vs Kotelnik???? Are you serious???? Come on HBO, I know Kotelnik deserves the payday but they couldnt find ONE welterweight contender????
I hope Celestino fights someone like Escalante or something

| Everyone wants to see Berto vs Cotto but instead Miguel declined to face Chavez Jr.
Right now pickings are slim at Welterweight, Berto's best options at welterweight are Mayweather,Williams and Clottey. |

| I agree with Gomez, Escalante vs Caballero would be great. Maybe even against John Berto vs PW is acceptable or even against Mike Jones, if not kick his ass out of the card. Im tired of seeing Berto face Jr. Welters and other bums or old ass fighters Dzinziruk vs Martinez, make it happen other than that I dont want to see him in the card unless Berto moves up and fights him. Angulo also wants no part of him either. Cintron vs Dzinziruk wouldnt be bad, but Im scared he may jump out of the ring again. | |

| Make Cintron-Berto. Dibella promotes Cintron and by the looks of things Cintron isnt goin to get a significant fight. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. | |

| Rumored opponents
Litzau vs Caballero -- nice, not bad at all, Pelenchin wrecks the American Boy
K9 or Kotelnik vs Berto -- K9 please, I think he might KO Berto!

| LOL
I don't want to see fighters out of their natural weight class unless they're no longer able to make the limit, however I am in favor of champions moving up to challenge themselves or if it's just for one payday.
Marquez in my mind has earned the right to try and be the first to capture the mythical fourth title. I'd rather he stayed at Lightweight but at 36 times running out to add to his legacy. |

| I have defended Berto for a long time because he is in the land of the P4P giants but if he takes on Kotelnik, I can no longer defend him. I am fine with taking the meaningless strap off of K9 and upping his cred with the people who care about those. It might even set up the Cotto-Berto fight even more. I feel bad that Caba still won't get one of the big names he desires but this will help his chances.
Also my money is on Montiel sneaking up and being the first Mexican with straps in 4 divisions. 122 is weak and Montiel might take one after he fights Donaire.
