I don't think Hughes has a chance against Condit. Serra is garbage, Condit is an up and coming future contendor. Maybe he could laynpray to another boring decision but I think he would get caught in a submission if he does anything similar to what he did against Serra. Condit isn't an up and comer. He's been in the game for a long time. But he is still young.

I was referring to his status in the UFC WW division and his age. His loss to Kampmann was a definite setback but he's an up and coming contendor in that division I have no doubt.

| Carlos Condit is what he always will be. And if Matt Hughes is even 70% of what he used to be he handles Condit easily. | |

| I mentioned some stuff about him in this thread, his last win was in Bellator in 54 seconds, he is 21-4 with 13 TKO/KOs. He is 6 foot and listed at 185 so I guess he use to be a MW, looks like a big WW. | |

Hughes couldn't even hang with Serra on the feet and layed on him for the entire fight. He wouldn't beat Condit.

As much as it would pain me to watch, Hughes would just take him down, avoid subs and gnp him all day. That's how Kampmann beat Condit and im sure Hughes would use the same blueprint he always does.

| GSP couldn't hang with Serra on the feet either.
If Condit beats Hughes it's because Hughes has declined dramatically. Carlos Condit is no better than any of Hughes numerous victims.

The guy supposed to be very good. I remember Jordan Breen talking about him a couple weeks ago.
He also has a brother Joe Ellenberger who is undefeated. Ah, thanks.

Just because GSP was a little gunshy the second time he fought Serra doesn't mean he would be now. He would pick Serra apart standing and so would Condit with his reach.
