Yup. If your dog is a Mastiff? I suggest evacuating the premises.

| The problem is Khan running his mouth about beating Alexander, Bradley and Maidana, claiming he is the best, and then looking for easier fights.
If he kept his mouth shut and went about his business it would be less offensive. And JMM is in deep vs Khan at this stage. THe size difference is too much.
There are excellent fights there for the making and we have fighters running their mouths while they simultaneously look for the softer touch.
If Khan, who I think is one of the most skilled fighters in the world, can't get JMM, and chooses Ortiz over Maidana, he is officially ducking the top fighters.

Taking on Ortiz IMO would be a duck IF maidana is available and IF he is willing. There is a lot of IF's in that. But really how many times have we heard the too big thing about fighters lately and been proven wrong. |

| its one fight at a time...marquez is a money fight for both..ortiz is a top contender madidana is rated behind kahn..any of thoses fights is not ducking anybody..you fight one fight at a time..suppose it is ortiz then the winner of bradley alexander..thats 2 top fights in a row..taking on the jan winner then what will we call kahn..none of thses fighters are ducking anyone..good matchups between them all will come about.one fight at a time.. | |

| You don't skip over the higher rated contender (who is also your manditory) to take on a lower rated contender, who is an easier fight and not any bigger commercially. That is hand picking/ ducking. | |

| Khan needs to step up and take out Maidana. If he fights the way Ortiz should have (boxing on the outside), he wins by wide UD or late stoppage. But it involves danger if Maidana lands a few bombs.
I believe in Khan's abilities inside the ring. I don't believe in his desire to really test those abilities against dangerous competition.

| I think Khan would very likely dominate Maidana, Ortiz, and JMM. Alexander and Bradley, I am not so sure. That is why I want to see him fight the best instead of just talk about it.
I want to see the fights where I am not totally confident one fighter will win.

Yup. If your dog is a Mastiff? I suggest evacuating the premises. Jack Russel but she has stunk out the room many times with silent deadly air biscuits. |
