I'm not defending it on Hatton's behalf, but it would at least draw JMM a big payday, and Hatton is shot- a much lesser threat than Khan.

Let's face it: GBP is doing the exact same thing as Arum in trying to keep all fights in-house. They will try to make Khan vs JMM, Maidana, Ortiz etc.

They put Haye in vs Ruiz(who was with golden Boy)
They put Mayweather in with Mosley.

I wish the in-house matchmaking would stop.

Here is the difference in my mind Ali. NOBODY is going to think Kahn-Hatton is a big or a meaningful fight. It is a passing of the torch payday. Nothing more.

In the cae of JMM-Kahn at 140? People are going to argue it is an IMPORTANT or MEANINGFUL fight from a glory perspective. It isn't. It's a slightly less offensive version of the Floyd=-JMM fiasco.

The Hatton choice is an honest one. The JMM choice, at 1409, is a dishonest one.

THe funniest thing I find about Khan being 23 is Devon Alexander is the same age, but still Khan fan boys stick to the still a "child" claim. Alexander was turned down by Maidana (chose Bradley instead but bowed down) and Bradley because he didnt want to fight him unless the money was right. Bradley is 5'6 and Alexander is 5'7, Con is 5'11. So yes hes a huge JR Welter. Those fighters from the UK are making their country look bad, as much as I hate Froch, I have a ton of respect for him always fighting the best and always wanting a piece of Slappy Joe. Khan is ducking the best his division has to offer. Marquez is still a natural Super Featheerweight, but I wouldnt be surprised if he could still make 126. I mean you must be stupid if you cant see the obvious. Khan is being protected like if he was the President of the United States. GBP is sacrificing Marquez to make Khan a star. Marquez knows this and its the reason he turned him down the first time. In his post fight interview, he didnt even talk about Khan. His mind is on Pacquiao. Khan has to grow a pair and fight Maidana. Bradley needs to do the same and fight Alexander.

5'11 lol Khan is 5'9.

Khan appears to be at least 5 ft 10.

Prescott is 5'11 and he towered over Khan, he's about 5'9 no way is Amir the same size as Calzaghe and Martinez.

Oh and Diego the UK isn't a country, England is a country.
