| Chuckchansi Park, Fresno's Pac Bell Park clone, will have a two day fight fest featuring over 60 boxing and MMA fights on September 18-19.
Day 1 will feature 32 first round bouts in eight weight classes for California's first amateur MMA tournament of the California Amateur MMA Organization. This is the first year California has sanctioned such a tournament to determine a state champion. Winners advance to day two.
Jose Ramirez headlines the boxing action possibly against Eric Flores, a lightweight national final rematch.
The amateur fights I've been to have had decent action in the past and churned out some names. With 64 fighters coming from camps all over the nation, this will be sure to have a lot of future prospects and some real bad ass moments. | |
