| so that makes lennox lewis an immortal..if it does then camacho deserves far greater recogonition then lewis as an immortal.victories over 29 years including duran leanard mancini vinnie paz..botha whos he ditto rahman who koed him he was a 24-1 underdog and koed lennox...golata..a choke artist who quits in fights..a well done washed up for years tyson and a win on cuts that if it did not happen a strong chance lewis would of lost..ill take camachos hollow wins first.. i said i would not comment on this but like sooner at times i can be stubborn..this list of soo called immortals represents the knowledge of a forum as a whole..first im disapointed that participation thus far in voting is very slim..second some of that partisipation covers one era not all 6 which immortals are in boxing history since day one..im expressing my thoughts yes as a lifetime boxing fan who has taken the time to appreciate greatness of fighters in all eras..and recognized what was accomplished .this is not piting a era over another..its recogonizing accomplishments that perhaps are exception..lewis and jones jr are not exceptional..especialy since one fighter avoided many possible fights etc etc...i can see it now..the possibilty of lewis jones mike spinks getting plenty of votes yet a marciano dempsey joe gans are out..and seveal others are talked about which means soneone thinks there an immortal...like izzy and others...poor participation above all is very sad..maybe even sadder who we are voting for over fighters that who in history were greater yet are not nominated.... | |

| Immortal is a whole different ball game then HOF'er. I'm too young to even compare different era's. But Lennox is not an immortal. | |

| immortal is a poor word to use for this whole thing, it implies someone who will never die, or like, be remembered forever. some guys on these lists are only known to hardcore fans, whereas tyson is known worldwide, and may well remain known for years to come | |

i said i would not comment on this but like sooner at times i can be stubborn..this list of soo called immortals represents the knowledge of a forum as a whole..first im disapointed that participation thus far in voting is very slim..second some of that partisipation covers one era not all 6 which immortals are in boxing history since day one..im expressing my thoughts yes as a lifetime boxing fan who has taken the time to appreciate greatness of fighters in all eras..and recognized what was accomplished .this is not piting a era over another..its recogonizing accomplishments that perhaps are exception..lewis and jones jr are not exceptional..especialy since one fighter avoided many possible fights etc etc...i can see it now..the possibilty of lewis jones mike spinks getting plenty of votes yet a marciano dempsey joe gans are out..and seveal others are talked about which means soneone thinks there an immortal...like izzy and others...poor participation above all is very sad..maybe even sadder who we are voting for over fighters that who in history were greater yet are not nominated.... nope but it easily gives him the best Heavy resume of the era and if we are going to have more than 2 people as imoortals in this era he isdeserving | |

We can debate the guys not everyone wants when we create a poll for them but right now we need to figure out the locks to get in. We need to figure out the guys who everyone voted for. So far who are they? Pac, BHOP, and who else? |

I didnt vote for Floyd. No offense but the guy has ducked too many fighters to get in. He will probably get in to this when it goes to a poll. |
