| Who do you pick to win this one?
It all comes down to stand-up, because Tito I don't think will be able to takedown Matt. Matt has been a surprisingly decent striker in his career -- he's at least been able to punish guys with it. With that in mind, I take Matt in a UD. It seems like a bad match-up for Tito. The UFC should have thrown him a bone and let him fight someone with little ground game like Diabate, if they cared to protect him at all.

| I don't know if Hamill will be able to get over the mental aspect of fighting his idol. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm picking Tito. | |

| Jon Jones ragdolled Hamill. Hamill's claim to MMA wrestling fame was blocking Munoz takedowns, a natural 185'r. Yushin Okami did the same thing at 185 to Munoz. If Ortiz is even 65 or 70% the fighter he was in his best days he can take down Matt Hamill. Tito is flat out a better striker than Matt Hamill as well.
Tito losing here would have more to do with Ortiz's decline than Hamill emerging.

| Well Hamill would have no business trying to exchange with Rich. It was a matter of time before Rich caught him.
I've never seen Tito beat someone up on the feet, but I have seen Hamill do it. And who hasn't Jon Jones ragdolled? THat's not a knock on Hamill. A standard double leg attempt from an old and rusty Tito will be no trouble for Hamill to stuff.

| Tito never fights the caliber of guys Hamill beats up. Tito fights A listers once a year with ring rust every time and is competitive, Hamill fights B/C listers often and gets annihilated whenever he tries to fight an A lister. Tito lands solid blows standing on Rashad and Forrest. Their defense and movement is thrice of Hamill. I admit Hamill has grown into a better striker slowly, but it wasn't that long ago him and Munoz put on that horrific boxing display. The headkick obscured how terrible they both were simultaniously. Hamill still has bad defense and is still easy to hit. Before Jardine lost it mentally with the deduction he was working a striking clinic on Hamill. Tito could easily hang with Jardine on the feet. Tito in this fight will probably land that headkick Tito throws every fight.
Tito will dominate this bout.
