What? When did he come up with that bullshit? Apparently Floyd Senior has given interviews recently where he states that is the reason Jr. is avoiding the fight for this year.

| As for working out, don't take a prolonged absence from working out. It takes way too much to get back into it.
When I was 27, almost 28, I could bench 315 (never tried more probably could have put up 335), squat around 450, and run 5 miles at a good speed easily. I hurt my shoulder lifting. I think I didn't warm up properly one time and I did something to it.
I took a few months off. My wife and I moved, there wasn't a really good gym so I decided to take a few more months off.
Started having pain in the back. Go to the doctor and find out I have bulging discs. So I spend 4 years getting lazy, doing back exercises, and a little cardio. No real lifting.
Have started back and the strength is almost all gone. Used to be able to hammer out 10-14 reps of 225 in final set of bench and thought nothing of it. Now I might not be able to bench that more than once.
Rather depressing.
Get in shape, and if you take breaks, don't make it prolonged. Do enough to maintain it.
