boxingscene just reported that angulo has challenged berto. he said since berto was willing to fight cotto at 154, but cotto turned him down that he would fight him.
and then berto just wrote this on his twitter page
"I don't think Angulo really knows what he's asking for. Thinks Cintron whooped him.. I'll put him in my back pocket "

Berto does a lot of talking for not beating anyone good. Cintron would destroy him, but Angulo would kill him. When Berto fights someone in the caliber of Cintron, then he can talk. Berto is garbage and very overrated. Flomo, Pac, Alexander, Bradely, Khan, Angulo, PW, Cotto, Cintron, Sergie D, Martinez, Spinks and kirkland would all beat him. Too bad he wouldnt dare to face any of the guys I mentioned.

He once tweeted after Valero killed his wife how his crazy behavior was caused by "damn bitches". Just another dumbass who never thinks before he speaks, which makes him a bad fit for Twitter.

well berto if he thinks that fight will be so easy then fight angulo.bertos gone from a nice guy from his post fight interview after the colazzo fight to good deeds in hati to a cocky idiot i guess.he has faster hands then angulo and yes will hit him often but bertos balance plus hes very hitable by an attacker like angulo .dont be shocked if the much slower afoot angulo tags him several times during the fight and puts loss one on berto..

Not the most impressive resume in the world.

I wouldnt be surprised if Angulos makes him a first round knock out victim. Berto better be prepared to be on his bike, but he will wear out. Hes very muscular, good for looks, but not for boxing. He gets tired late in the fight and looks sloppy.

Berto also doesn't have a great chin. Angulo will be able take Berto's shots (especially early). What happens to Berto when he has the Mexican dawn of the dead after him round after round.

Like I said in the hole Angulo is too big and relentless for Berto, he would decimate the poor kid.

Wrong. HBO wanted to make Berto vs Shane but they lowballed Berto. Berto would've made less fighting Shane than what he made fighting Quintana. Thats why the fight didnt happen this time. Blame HBO.

actualy the fight was made and contracts signed then the hatian tragedy..hbo is to blame in one respect.there overpaying berto.

Shane doesnt want to fight anyone. He is done and he knows it. Thats why he wont fight Berto or anyone else thats good.

I just dont see how Berto wanted MORE than 50/50 vs Shane
