| Gotta love Zab Judah's little dance after he was starched by Kostya Tsyzu a few years back. somebody said Zab was so fucked up by Tsyzu's punch, he didn't even know he was knocked down. He gets knocked on his ass, gets up stepping in post holes, tries to tell Jay Nady it wasn't a KD, and then falls on his face. It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2o7A3rMN6Co | |

How 'bout that shot that Mike Tyson hit Trevor Berbick with for the WBC Heavyweight Title in March 7, 1987, Berbick went done 3 times from the same left hook. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMGzKcbCYPc

| If he had stayed down for 7-8 seconds after the knockdown, then gotten up, he may have made it. He got up immediately and his brain was sending crazy signals to the body.

watch this whole interview, Judah makes himself look hella stupid. Good find Diego, a different look at the punch and the knockdown, that was hilarious when they were playing the theme from "Superman" while showing Zab doing his famous dance, what a fucking loser.

| I STILL think Nady made as poor call there. The round was OVER, Judah could not get hit again, why didn't he get sixty seconds with his corner? Nady could have done an exam at the beginning of the next round and stopped it if Zab was not ready.
BTW, those two rifle-shot right hands were textbook by Kostya.

If that's true, then yes. But I've read through the rulebooks of the various organizations and I've never seen such a thing. Who knows, maybe the refs have been told in seminars or something.

Anyway, if there isn't a rule, i'd agree, considering that the round was over, that Nady jumped the gun a bit. I wonder why there never was a rematch?

| I think Nady was concerned that Judah was talking and falling at the same time. He had good reason to think that Judah had no idea where he was or what was going on. Cedric The Comedian was right on this one. He may not have known that he was knocked down. | |
