This will really strengthen the division.

Werdum, Barnett, Fedor, Rogers, Overeem, Del Rosario, Lashley, AA, Silva, Johnson.

HW is Strikeforce's best division.

It's a big pick up if they get him, but whats the latest on Barnett vs. CSAC?

If Barnett signs is it Barnett vs. Overeem and Fedor vs. Bigfoot while Werdum is out...or maybe Fedor vs. Barnett and Overeem vs. Bigfoot?

Rescues SF from having to schedule yet another title fight with the challenger coming off a loss.
Fedor can go get back on the winning track vs Big Foot.

How bout Fedor vs Barnett and the winner fights for the title?

Werdum - The top HW in SF
Barnett - The top steroid user in the sport
Fedor - The former best HW in the world
Rogers - Lost last two
Overeem - Last victory was over a guy whose biggest victory was over chinless AA
Del Rosario - Great up and comer, great potential
Lashley - Not maximizing his potential and getting a little to old to do it now
AA - Needs to seriously consider retirement
Silva - The most disproportionate sized head in the sport
Johnson - Hasn't really fought anyone of note

If I was the UFC I would consider 4 of these guys Werdum, Fedor, Del Rosario, and Overeem and dismiss the rest. Not as badass as some would have you consider them.

Who is the guy who won't fight in the US? And I'll assume that once Barnett signs, he'll be fighting less then 6 months after.

reem doesnt fight in the us often as of late

Overeem wouldn't fight stateside for over two years. and how long before Barnett tests positive again and can't fight for Strikeforce?

Besides, the Strikeforce belt means nothing anyway, even Coker and the rest have alluded to this idea by the matchups being thrown around.

Overeem wants to fight in SF in October he said the other day. Its either that or some K-1 stuff

Well it wasn't until the last year or so that SF has had anything resembling a worthy challenger.

But the death blow 2 your argument is the fact that Reem just fought in the US & as Bobbit says, wants to fight here again in Oct.

Werdum is the lone SF fighter who really deserves a title shot, but, he's hurt and wants the Fedor rematch above anything.

Barnett is on a 6 fight win streak, a former UFC champion, and a very recognizable name. Perfect scenario? Nah, that went out the window with the Fedor loss. Best case scenario? IMO, yeah. Even the roid issue is scaled back considering he's fighting Reem.

Your right Captain, about Silva, I completely dismissed his victories over AA, Correira, and Rodriguez. Who could have forgot those stunning upsets.
