Yeah I had it 7-5. One of my friends who always roots against Pac had it the same way you did. i could see that too a couple of those rounds were to close to call but i gave the fight to pac for the KD had it not been for that i would have scored it a draw. it was a damn good fight and will be talked about by boxing fans for years

| the reports out there seem to be that Pac vs Margarito seems more likely as Cotto might be in the running for a big payday against Chavez Jr. But who knows, it will all be whatever crazy ass Arum wants. | |

The question is do I skip out of watching a Pac fight? I would buy it if it was Cotto but I am not so sure about Margo. |

| I'd love Bradley at 140 or Berto at 147.
I don't think Manny's going down to 140 though (too little to gain from a public opinion standpoint). Def agree with Berto at 147.
I hate Margo and the idea of him getting another fight. If they do it, I hope they do it in the Philippines and let Pac fight with cement in his gloves. |

| Guys how much more polished do you want Berto to be? He's a fucking belt holder in a glory division where he's ranked in the top five. If he can't defend against other guys in the top of the division he should quit. 300 or so amateur fights and 26 pro fights? Give me a break.
Where will Pac fight JMM? You want Pac to move down two divisions? Or do you want to see a 37 year old guy move up a division where he's previously looked like shit in?
Let Berto and Pac fight. Shake up 147 a little bit.

Let Berto and Pac fight. Shake up 147 a little bit. I would watch the fight but Pac would kill Berto right now. Pac could drop down to like 135 or so and they could fight at that weight for a JMM fight. But really do you think Berto needs no polishing? He still is a very young fighter who needs to work on his footwork a lot. Either way Pac is going to fight a guy who he shouldnt be fighting because of a pussy. |

I think he would for about 5 rounds and then it would turn very bad for Berto. He would be KO'd in 8 or 9. If he does not get caught early in the fight. |

I have never seen Pac hurt. I think Pac has a good enough chin to take Berto's punch but who knows. I think Berto's footwork will not allow him to land anything big in this fight. He has to catch Pac before Pac catches him and then hope that he dents Pac's chin. That is a tall task. |

| pac was koed twice by body shots.marquez stunned him a few times.clottey in close snapped his head back at least 4 times and pac clinched...pac is my favorite fighter today.its not a given he walks all over berto or floyd for that matter..is he capable.yep.but both of them could also surprize pac indeed..next year the young jones kid could surprize manyfighters also.

I think Berto's power is overrated. His power looks great against sub par competition. He's fast against guys that are slow. All of Berto's strengths seem to be easily neutralized by B level competition. Cosme Rivera put Berto on his ass and Collazo gave Berto all he could handle. I just don't see Berto as an elite fighter which is why I want someone elite to take his title at this division.

He was like 17 when he was KO'd with body shots. |

| Pac may get to a point that someone's shots dent the chin. he is a smaller guy campaigning at welter. After the cotto fight he looked like he got beat up (even though he didn't). Clottey lifted his feet up off the canvas each of the 3-4 times Clottey landed an uppercut.
If a fighter has enough of a chin and boxing ability to stand up to Pac's onslaught for 5-6 rounds without wilting, Pac's chin may not be able to stand the return fire.
