| Can someone explain what he is doing (follow me)? He moved up from 168 about 4 years ago. He still often weighs in below the 175 limit. He has been fighting the close to/ and over 40 crowd, Tarver and Glen Johnson, for over 2 years.
An article on boxingscene says for the 30 day weigh (done by commission so a guy doesn't lose way too much weight in the run up to the fight), he weighed 177. Pascal-181. So 30 days from the fight and his weight is at a point that it appears he could make 168 without that much trouble.
Dawson has said himself he could make 168 and it wouldn't be that big of a struggle.
WHAT IS HE DOING AT 175? Why isn't he in the super 6 and campaigning at 168 where there is alot younger(better) fighters??? Or Why isn't he going down to 168, going up to Canada, and taking on Bute?
After Pascal there is Cloud (if Johnson doesn't take him out first). Not alot else at 175. He is wasting his prime years fighting in a lackluster division when he could move down and fight in 1 of the deepest divisions in the sport (which has alot of interesting fights). GREAT JOB WASTING YOUR PRIME MR. DAWSON!!!!!

| Well right now he's got some good $ fights coming up
Pascal in August in Montreal, if he makes a splash there, could land an even bigger fight vs Bute in 2011
Do not mind the plan at all!

| Fighting Jesus Ruiz, Epi Mendoza, Tarver twice, and Johnson twice is not really a great 3 years.
Now fighting Pascal and then maybe Bute. Bute isn't assured of fighting Dawson. He'll fight whoever brings him the most money. Assuming Pavlik wins his next fight, he may be the guy Bute waits for at 168 (at least until the super 6 ends).

| Well he took the paydays man
He had no choice, HBO offered the purses for the Johnson and Tarver rematches
They where not necessary, he clearly beat both of them in the first fights on Showtime
Ruiz and Mendoza where tune ups/stay busy fights
He tried to get Hopkins the ring and even HBO wanted it but Popkins didnt want any part of him

| Chad's main problem is his fights are boring, have you ever watched a Dawson' fight and came away from it feeling like you were entertained? | |

| dawsons a fighter that legitametly is a 175 pounder and could make the weight under the weigh in rules of years ago..the 168 pounders may in reality be legit 175 lders under thoses rules of the weight in years ago..dawson doent have to go done let the other guys come up for that fight....dawson to me doesnt excite folks.brute abraham and most of the 168 lders do. | |
