Scoreboard says 1-1. This is just like people saying Mir shouldn't fight Brock again down the line....let's look up at the scoreboard and see what it says. Dissect those numbers all you want, 1-1 will always be even.

I get that, but Le doesn't owe Smith shit right now. Maybe he'd make a case if he wins a few fights or something. The scoreboard isn't the whole story and we all, me, you, Coker, Le and Smith know that.

Fair enough, I also don't think Le owes him a damn thing. But I understand where Scott is comming from.

I'd be all right with Smith in the tourney. Nobody wants to see Le Shamrock III. The 2nd fight didn't garner much by way of prefight hype.

Honestly I don't see Smith beating him. IMO Smith got lucky the first fight that Le gassed, if he didn't there wouldn't have even been a second fight. If there is a 3rd I see it going down the same as the second with Le winning easily.

I agree with scott that he didnt have to take the fight but in the same aspect he got owned in the first fight and pulled it out and got owned in the second fight. It would be in smith's best interest to stay away from le so he doesnt get another loss on his record.

Scott Smith must be masochistic wanting a third fight. In just about 5 rounds he's mounted 10 seconds of offense and he seems to want to fight Cung Le for every fight of his career. I say Smith should get in the tourney but if i were Smith i'd look for #3 with Lawler before i go getting owned by Cung.
